High Performance Coaches

John Letts - A former National Junior Champion, John earned a full scholarship to Stanford University where he was an All-American and two-time NCAA team champion.  On the professional tour, he reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open Champion and played in all the Grand Slams. Brian Teacher - A Grand Slam Champion (Australian Open 1980), Teacher had a long successful career on the ATP tour reaching a career high #5 in the world in singles.  As a coach he led Greg Rusedski from 85 in the world to the top 10 and the U.S. Open finals.  He also coached So Cal native Marissa Irvin to a Stanford scholarship and a top 50 in the world WTA ranking. Kelly Gullett – an All-American at Pepperdine, he reached the top 250 in the world in doubles with wins over James Blake among others.  He was an NCAA finalist in doubles, losing a tough three setter to the Bryan Bros.
Genya Trosman - – a 25 year teaching veteran from the Ukraine.  He has coached tens of thousands of lessons to players of all ages and abilities.  Gary Palmer - Another 25 year teaching veteran.  Gary owned and operated his own tennis academy (Palmer Tennis) for 10 years in Northeast Pasadena.  Luana Magnani
Formerly ranked #1 in the country as a junior, Luana was a #1 star singles player for USC and an All-American.

An outstanding collegiate player for USC, Diaz now competes on the WTA tour when she is not  teaching.

A full time career teaching professional, Chris teaches more than 40 hours per week.

Mike Gealer
A career tennis professional, Mike’s own two kids have both ranked #1 in Southern California for their age groups.
Krishana De Silva
A recent  scholarship player for Cal State L.A., Krishana is from England and received her masters in English. Lit. from Cal State.
Stefan Studer
Originally from Switzerland, Stefan is a huge Federer fan and is iTennis most loved teacher of tiny tots classes for kids.

Tony Moschetto
Recently moved from Ipswitch, NY, Tony has years of experience in community tennis programming.

 

Matthew McSavaney
Matt loves teaching and currently helps out with parks & rec. classes for the City of Arcadia when not teaching for iTennis

A former touring player from Serbia, Dacho has taught at some of the most prestigious venues in the world.

 

Zhen Wang
An accountant by day, Zhen pursues his passion in the evenings and weekends by filling in to teach privates and group clinics. 
Adam Cooley
Adam works summer camps for iTennis.  Previous gigs include teaching at Allendale Country Club and Pasadena Athletic Club.

A transplant from Michigan, Joe loves teaching kids & adults.

Lisa Farr
A scholarship player for Pepperdine, Lisa turned back to her first love tennis after years in other industries.

A recent addition to the iTennis team, Ron also serves as the high school coach for the prestigious Flintridge Prep school.

Kyle Cameron-Lewis
A high school standout at Saint Francis, and recent USC graduate.  He will be teaching Religion at Sacred Heart in the fall.

 

Elizabeth Carpenter
A high school standout for Maranatha High School, Liz is currently on a full tennis scholarship to Univ. of Wisconsin where she will be in her Junior year.

 

Abubakr Ali
A long time iTennis student and coach, 'A.B.' is a hit with the kids.  An outstadning junior player, he will be entering his senior year at La Crescenta High School
Natalie McNall
One of iTennis long time students, Natalie was a top ranked junior and 4 year standout for Maranatha High School.  She has assisted with iTennis summer camps every summer.  She will be attending Azusa Pacific on an athletic scholarship in the fall.

Derek Hsu
A recent graduate of Polytechnic school where he played #1 on the team.  Derek will be attending Duke University in the fall.

 

Joey Tresierras
#1 singles player for San Gabriel High School and a CIF all league player.  He will be playing for Glendale College in the fall.

 

Emily McNall
Starting her Sophomore year of high school at Maranatha, she achieved a top 10 ranking in California in the 14 & unders and is currently a highly ranked 16 & under player.

 

Emily Letts
Played #2 singles for Polytechnic school where she made the second team all CIF.  She will be entering her Sophomore year at Poly.
